Craftastic Monday Link Party, Magazine News & Giveaway Winner!


Valentine's Day is coming up in just a few days, so this week's party is full of features that really share love.  And since I love my readers,I've got a special new how-to & big fabric news to share with you later this week;)

Using basic ingredients, you and the kids can create a tasty, totally edible box that's just as delicious as the goodies it can hold.  You can find it on pages 12-15 of the new Spring 2014 issue, as the Cool Ideas feature.

Sew Can Do Is In Yum Food and Fun For Kids Magazine!


I'm proud to share that you can find me in the latest issue of YUM Food & Fun For Kids Magazine.  In it I'm sharing a new tasty creation, Hedgehog Cheese Balls:


These tasty little critters are easy & fun for the kids to make and eat.  Perfect as after school snacks!


This is my second appearance as a contributor for Yum!  I was in the Spring 2013 issue with my ever-popular Sculpted Frosting.  This time I've gone savory with my snacks.



This quarterly magazine full of fun, food-related projects & products, nutrition tips, recipes and party ideas that are fabulous for kids.  There's a ton of great content in each issue and most of it is easy enough for even the kids to help with, so it's great for the whole family.  It's a great feeling seeing my name printed in it:)

Sew Can Do's YUM Food & Fun Magazine Debut


Today I'm proud to share that I'm in the latest issue of YUM Food & Fun Magazine!!


This quarterly magazine is full of fun, food-related projects & products, recipes and party ideas that are fabulous for kids.  They pack an enormous amount of great content in each issue, so it's a goldmine of goodies for us crafty types.  I'm a contributor to the "Cool Ideas" of the new Spring 2013 issue, currently on newsstands.  


I was asked to share my popular sculptable frosting and some all new spring-themed designs using it:


I also show how to make my "peeptastic" spring chick, plus some handy tips & tricks for making sculpted frosting look awesome.  


It's a really fantastic magazine for anyone who loves food, crafts & kids.  Loads of meal ideas, recipes, things kids can do & more.  I'd say it was awesome even if I wasn't in it! These are just some of the other great things you can find inside:
