A Memorial Filled Craftastic Monday Link Party

Today's Craftastic Monday is extra special because it is also Memorial Day here in the U.S.  It's a  time to enjoy being with family and to celebrate all the brave people who gave their all to serve our country.

Last week we had some really amazing projects linked up - I really can't wait to see what new treasures you have to share!

Remember to comment below about your link and add the Craftastic party button to your post or sidebar so you can be considered for Craftastic Blog of the Week.  In addition to getting a write-up about your blog, you get a week's worth of advertising here for FREEso taking that extra second when you link up can really pay off!

Now let's see some of the sweet ideas from last week:

Mommy's Ordinary Magic shared this genius idea for a magnetic princess play tray using an old cookie sheet and some $1 magnets.  My 2yr old would be all over this!!

How cute are these crocheted olives from Repeat Crafter Me?  She gives you the how-to for making your own too:

Love pretty baker's twine?  Check out how to make some sweet cupcakes with them over at Oh Craft!
Twigg Studios showed a tutorial for making anything glass have a vintage mercury  effect - easy & cool:
I also feature these projects and more party favorites on the Sew Can Do's Craftastic Picks board on Pinterest.  Follow me there to see more great projects (and if yours is one of them)!

And now for the Craftastic Blog of the Week:
snugasabugbaby.com
SnugasaBugBaby is the creation of Alisha, a mom of 2, who shares helpful how-tos, tips she's found and mistakes she's made in the hope that you won’t need to make the same ones (how handy is that?!).  I love her animal shaped blankets and home transformations.

Last week she shared an amazing laundry nook transformation that was super cute and had a budget of $0!  Amazing.

How can YOU be Craftastic Blog of The Week,
 get a special feature here
& one week of FREE advertising on my sidebar?

  • Link up a new project(s)
  • Include the Craftastic Monday Party button in your post(s) or on your sidebar (party pages don't count)
  • Leave a comment below telling me what you linked so I can check it out
One blog that meets the criteria will be selected each week.  More details can be found HERE.

Ready to link up your crafty creations?
Party rules are simple:
  • As long as it's crafty, and made by you, it's Craftastic (no links giveaways, shops, link parties or other people's work).  Add the link to your specific post (not the main page of your blog).
  • Grab my party button & put it on your post or blog somewhere.  The code's on the sidebar ->
  • Check out some of the other fabulous links and share some crafty comment love.  We all love getting comments!!
Have a great week!

I love your blog and I was wondering when you post the links from others could you please make them a little bigger. My eyes aren't what they use to be. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Shirley,

I do use a large size font and increase the size of pictures to large as well, but I am a bit constrained by space - you can easily make everything larger by going to View, then Zoom In on your browser bar, so you can make things as big as you'd like:)
