Geeks In The HOUSE!!!!

Well geeks in my house anyway.  If you're a crafter who's also a geek (ahem, self) or know someone who is a geek/video game lover, you'll love this new fabric from Timeless Treasures from the Geeks Gone Wild collection designed by Kyla May.  I was so excited when Timeless Treasures gave me a preview of this new collection and asked me to come up with some fun project ideas for it.  Sooooo many possibilities!!!  The most obvious one to me was a sweet laptop case, so here's what I dreamed up:

What computer nerd doesn't need a stylin' way to keep a laptop safe?  I padded the bag with batting and lined the inside with solid black to let the gamer print take center stage.  I made the closure with some elastic & a color-coordinated button.

Perfect for travel or just kicking it old school gamer style on the desk.

And yes those are more goodies made with more of the collection.  I'll be giving the 411 on making those projects tomorrow!

Sharing this with my FAVE LINK PARTIES too so check them out HERE!
