Little Owl Dress Pattern Is Here!

After such a great response to my Little Owl Baby Dress Tutorial I am happy to finally have a pattern to share with all of you! Just click on the link below. I hope this works out - it's my first attempt at a printable pattern.

It should fit 0-6mos (just don't forget to add a seam allowance!). I'd suggest adding 5/8in to all seam edges to make this work for 6-12mos and for 12-18mos also add an extra 1.5in to the bottom hem (or leave as is to wear as a cute top instead). For anyone just finding this, use the tutorial link above to get step-by-step on how to make a cute little dress with this pattern. I would LOVE to see any dresses made from this, so please do share pics! As with most blogger patterns, this is for personal use only and please credit me if you post this pattern & tutorial anywhere else. Have fun!

  9. I made it today! I used fabric from a dress that's too small for me now and it looks pretty cute. My model is still in utero, so I will check fit when she's born in a couple of months. :)

  10. I love this pattern! Please tell me, How much seam allowance would I need for a 3month old? You say the pattern can be for a 0-6mo, so do I just add 5/8"?

    1. It is a single size that fits approximately 0 to 6 months, so you wouldn't need to add anything. The seam allowance is included.
