Hello May Craftastic Monday Link Party

May is here and we're finally getting a bit of sun & warmth.  Hopefully being out of an extreme lockdown won't be far behind.  It was definitely a strange feeling to go to the post office & grocery store for the first time in 3 months and be super excited just because it had been that long since I'd been out of the house.  At least we're finally "allowed" to buy seeds and garden supplies this week!

I truly hope that this warmer season will bring more bits of normalcy and joy after so much doom & gloom for so long.  Let's get in the zone by sharing some lovely projects that help make the days brighter.  Recipes, DIYs, up-cycles, crafts, share whatever you have that lifts the spirit!

Last week we were without internet service for several days, so a lot of time was spent trying to run my online shop from a mobile phone.  I cannot wait to finally get craft time again!!

  1. Ugh, not having internet is the pits! I've had to run my online shop from a phone and tablet before and it's no fun. Thanks for plugging along and still hosting a great party! It's always fun to link up with you. Have a great week.

    1. It was an extra challenge we didn't need right now - especially since we've been swamped with orders due to all the homemade mask making. So glad to be able to keep the party going & have you join in!

  2. Isn't it funny how quickly the internet has become such an essential in our lives. When it's playing up everything just takes SO LONG! I hope yours is behaving itself now and that you and yours are all staying safe and well.

    1. It's so true - my shop, the blog, my husband's work and the majority of our kids homeschool materials all require the internet, so it was a stressful week (on top of the whole can't go anywhere or are "allowed" to even go to the playground down the street because of crazy lockdown measures). I'm grateful we at least have this back and pray that more normalcy will follow soon. Heaven knows the world needs it!

  5. I had been going out to the grocery store once a week but this was the first week where I went to other stores and places and it was amazing how different that felt.

    1. I wish we could go to other places & stores here in MI! Our governor has a choke hold on everything apart from getting food. It felt like being in an apocalyptic movie when I finally went to get groceries and everyone was required to be masked up.
