In addition to a brand new look, there are some new patterns and a Seamingly Smitten photo contest!  Seamingly Smitten wants to see photos using the adorable Adelaide Dress Pattern.  Prizes include a new sewing machine, craft store gift cards and free patterns. Head over to the Seamingly Smitten blog for more details.

Now let's see some perfect patterns for Spring:

The recently released Magazine Street Maxi Dress Pattern is a great dress pattern for this changeable spring weather & quick to sew.  It provides sizes XS through XXXL, features rounded neckline and cap sleeve or sleeveless styling options.   Go with a bold or trendy print to really make a statement:

This pattern has a knit bodice, but offers the ability to use knit or woven fabric for the maxi skirt.  Use cottons, rayons or blends - lots of choices for material.   And with two sleeve styles on top, as well as an optional side slit on the skirt,  you could make many different looks from this one pattern.

There's also a new Magazine Street Maxi Dress Pattern for Girls.  This pattern covers toddler to tween sizes, so all the little ladies can have one:

And since spring break is upon us, why not make some fun swimwear with the Boy's Swim Trunk pattern

It's got all the details store made trunks have: mesh lining, elastic waist, contrasting waistband, faux drawstring and grommet detailing on the optional tabs, except you can make them more fun with your favorite fabrics. You can use traditional fabrics like seersucker & cotton, as well swimsuit knits for this style.  The little & big guys, from 3 months to 12 yrs, will look cool at the pool in these.
