A Year In Crafts
It's the end of a fabulous year of crafts! I want to thank everyone who reads this blog for making it such an amazing experience this year. I cannot believe how much has happened in such a short time. Here's to even more new crafty friends & projects ideas for 2011!
I thought today I'd highlight some of my favorite stuff from this year to wrap things up.
The Craftastic Monday link party was born and has showcased some amazing project ideas from all of you and is still going strong every week!
All summer long we celebrated CraftShare -
Which was a way to share crafting knowledge & themed projects. There were loads of tutorials, great guest posters & special Flickr group.
We covered TONS of stuff like laminated cotton, die cut projects, liquid starch, modeling chocolate, felt & more. Click on the Craftshare tab above to find links to everything.
I came up with my idea for a Hairdo Hat:
and have done all kinds of crazy styles all year long:
The amazing response got me to open my Etsy shop:
And I've been making hats ever since!
We celebrated my little girl's 1st birthday with a DIY tea party:
Made loads of fun outfits for little people:
And some fun home projects:
Whew, and that's just a few highlights. I hope everyone has a very Happy & Healthy New Year! See you in 2011!!

I love your makings - have a wonderful 2011!!!
ReplyDeleteYour two boys are cute, but let's face it, they just can't compete with baby sister in the "cuteness" category. She's something else!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter was bald for the first two years of her life, but then she wound up with thick hair that's the envy of all her friends. (She's 19 now.) You'll need some new projects when she doesn't need the hats any more!
