Hairdo Hat For Baby

This crazy idea occurred to me last night when I was playing with my little girl and her blankie was on her head.   I'm calling it the Hairdo Hat.  It was beyond easy to make and the LOLs from her, me, my husband & older kids when we saw it on her told me this was a win. I do want to say I love my little girl's sweet, bald head, but since it's going to be a while before we can even stick a barrette (let alone ponytails) in her hair, this was a fun way to have a "hairdo".
All I did was cut a 14x20" piece of brown fleece, stitch a seam down the middle for a "part" and while it was on her head, gathered the two sides into hairbands.  Then I cut 1/4" strips from the two sides, pulled them so they'd be flufflier (a little fleece trick I learned recently) and replaced the hairbands with ribbons tied in bows.
I cannot wait to take her out wearing this hat - she already seems to love it.  I've already got another Hairdo Hat idea I'm ready to try out.  Boy, does this give new meaning to the phrase "hat hair";)
