A Hopeful May Craftastic Monday Link Party

A hot second ago May began and suddenly here we are more than half way through the month!  It's a weird combination of time seeming to fly by, yet so many same-y days that all run together.   Time is hard to keep track of anymore, isn't it?

Household chores have really amplified thanks to all 7 of us being home 24/7 and spring starting.  That, plus my shop being blessed with busy-ness, has meant my craft projects have been moving at a snail's pace for as long as we've been in lock down mode.  And no end seems in sight for any of it despite so much time passing.  I'm sick of this un-normal "new normal" that's replaced the fun & joy felt when I was making things.  So, I'm trying to carve out time to get some new stuff ready enough to FINALLY post.  Feeling excited about crafts again helps bring hope of more carefree & joy-filled times ahead.  I appreciate everyone hanging in there despite my own lack of craftastic-ness!

It's a real boost on so many levels seeing all the fantastic & clever projects that everyone's been making, so keep linking up those recipes, DIYs, up-cycles, crafts, decorations & gardening ideas.

Marilyn's Treat's gave this handy how-to for homemade confectioner's sugar:

It's the preferred sugar for baked good decorations like frosting, icing, and dusting. I also sift it on donuts. I also use it used often in candy and fudge recipes as well as dense cookie and dessert bar recipes.
