I can't wait to see your links this week. Can you believe 2013 is almost here?!? Time has gone by so fast! I'm excited for a fresh start & chance to try new things. I've got some great giveaways, new projects & special ideas to share throughout January (and more craftastic stuff for the rest of the year too). Do you have any craft goals for the new year?
My main goal for 2013 is: HAVE FUN CRAFTING. It's such a simple thing to say, but it's easy for us crafters to get caught up in to-do lists, keeping up with trends, and of course, falling into the black hole of craft staring (I'm talking about you, Pinterest). All these things suck up actual time and seem to turn crafting into work. That zaps the fun & creativity right out of it. So I hope you'll join me in my new mantra and help make crafting fun again!
Now for some crafty ideas that ARE fun:
Last week High Heels and Grills shared two must-try treats - Christmas Slush and Peppermint Meringue Cookies. These are on my to-make list for 2013!
Check out this awesome Hello Kitty sleeping bag tutorial from A Jennuine Life. It looks so fabulous - it's hard to believe this was homemade and now you can make one too:
Another terrific project idea was this magnetic photo doll tin at Palmettos & Pigtails. What a fun way for the kids to play just about anywhere & get try out new "outfits" on themselves:
And this cute paper cone Christmas tree from Craft Klatch is something to remember for next year:
If you're one of this week's features, be sure to grab my Featured On button over on the sidebar to let everyone know. I also feature these projects & more party favorites on the Sew Can Do's Craftastic Picks board on Pinterest. Follow me there to see more great projects (and if yours is one of them)!
Ready to link up your crafty creations?
Party rules are simple:
- As long as it's crafty, and made by you, it's Craftastic (no links to giveaways, shops, link parties or other people's work). Add the link to your specific post (not the main page of your blog).
