The shop that sells this fabric also now sells a seam sealing tape for PUL that would probably work - they'd have to be asked if it works on the waterproof oxford too. It gets ironed on at a low temperature to adhere it. That may also make corners stronger.

I was just using the little bag this weekend as a coin purse and it's still holding up well. The backpack has gotten heavy use and it's still good too. I would line it with thick fleece to help protect the phone. It would be like the little elephant bag with zipper that you made but the zipper would have to go up the long side and across the short side at the top. Waterproof Oxford is great for more structured applications like bags & mats, but not as suited for clothing. Both are great fabrics, but somewhat different uses.Sew Can Dohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03411538881134901843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2578269999856867237.post-56330253380334213612016-10-25T08:29:50.145-04:002016-10-25T08:29:50.145-04:00Hi, I am debating using the PUL and the Oxford wat...Hi, I am debating using the PUL and the Oxford waterproof. I'm not sure which would be better. I am making a sling cover with a lining. I wanted it to be semi-waterproof but also a little flexible and cozy feeling since it's going over baby. Do you think the Oxford would be too structured? Do you find that the PUL fabric print side would wick away moisture or not so much? Thanks!
